Andrew Newman

Andrew (Andy) has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry.

Having worked as an assessor and underwriter for a number of years, in 2001 Andrew diversified into the broking sector, joining Waikato firm Law Mooney Williamson insurance brokers.

Andrew’s focus is very claims orientated.  “One of the most rewarding parts of my role is getting claims satisfaction.  Being appointed as a client’s broker is a big responsibility, and one I take very seriously.  As a firm we have to perform.”

Outside of work Andrew has a range of sporting and community interests, including a past role as trustee of the Balloons over Waikato Festival.  Currently Andrew serves as a long-time trustee of the Hamilton Budgeting Advisory Trust, is a Rotarian, and supports junior golf at the Cambridge Golf Club, where he is a member.
